FEDERAL FAMILY EDUCATION LOAN PROGRAM (FFELP)

(FFELP) STAFFORD LOAN-6.8%
• Fixed rate.
• Guaranteed to receive loan if student meets eligibility requirements.
• You must complete FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov (See Apply for Financial Aid)
• Annual limit of $8,500.00 subsidized (government pays the interested while you are in school), $12,500.00 unsubsidized (you pay all the interest, although you can have the payments deferred until after graduation). Aggregate loan limit is $138,500.00 for graduate students.
• Loan Entrance and Exit counseling is required at http://mapping-your-future.org
• You may defer repayment until 6 months after graduation.
• You may pay interest-only while in school (to avoid compounded interest). You may make a payment at anytime without penalty.
• You may defer undergraduate loans while in school.

(FFELP) GRAD PLUS Loan-8.5%
• Fixed rate.
• Must be credit-worthy to qualify. Credit check will be completed on the student. May also have a US citizen to co-sign the loan.
• Must complete FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov (See Apply for Financial Aid)
• Apply at http://www.amsa.com/direct/borrowers/esigninstructions.cfm
• Does not affect your aggregate loan limit.
• Loan counseling is required.
• Goes into immediate repayment unless the student defers repayment until after graduation.
• You may pay interest-only while in school, or may make a payment at anytime without penalty.

VETERANS EDUCATION BENEFITS
Because each state is in charge of the approval process, we are currently working on our New York approval. We are not approved in New York at this time.
