Applying Modern Psychoanalysis to Patients Seeking Short-Term Therapy
Psychoanalysts bring their expertise in unconscious motivation and mental development to every clinical
encounter. But what happens when patients present with no interest in, or intent to pursue extended
long term treatment? This workshop will address ways in which modern psychoanalytic theory and technique can be incorporated into clinical work with parents of children and adolescents, couples therapy,
requests for counseling and problem solving therapy, and managed care and insurance limitations.

VT where he works with individuals, children, couples, families, and consults in the school system.
