Gohar Homayounpour

Upon completing her Master’s degree from BGSP in 2002 and her doctoral degree from VGSP, a branch of BGSP, in 2006, Dr. Homayounpour returned to her native Iran. Dr. Homayounpour is currently teaching in the psychology department at the Beheshti University in Tehran and is running Modern Psychoanalytic groups for the students of the university.

In addition, she is working at the mental health clinic that is part of the university, where she treats people with a wide range of diagnoses from a variety of demographic populations. She also runs workshops for other clinicians on psychoanalytic theory and technique, and provides supervision to them as well.
