This “small” low budget film, directed by Damien Chazelle, focuses on just two characters and the development of their relationship became a big film: it was nominated for five academy awards, winning in two categories, best supporting actor for J.K. Simmons and best sound production.   And it has generated a great deal of discussion in the critical world.
