"Manzanar pays homage to the 10,000 Japanese Americans who despite loss of homes, farms, businesses and personal freedom summoned courage, strength and dignity during their darkest hours of imprisonment at the Manzanar Relocation Center located in the Mojave Desert in California. It is an affirmation of human resilience and an example of how FEAR imprisons us and destroys the very foundation this country was founded on.”
